About Us

Matthew Stalletti is an award-winning Canadian writer-director, producer, and Founder of Mafftech Productions and Mafftech Interactive. He is best known for his feature  film The Wicked: Reborn, which won 10 international awards, including Best Director and Best Actor at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival, and premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. 

Working alongside Emmy-winning casting directors and producers, Matthew has developed a reputation for crafting emotionally grounded, visually ambitious stories that balance heightened concepts with intimate character work across both film and interactive mediums. 

His hands-on experience across writing, directing, editing, producing, and advertising has given him a deep understanding of the creative and commercial stakes involved in building and positioning projects. His work has screened internationally at Canadian Screen Awards qualifying festivals, earning recognition for its originality, world-building, and strong performances.

Through Mafftech Productions and Mafftech Interactive, Matthew is currently developing a slate of film and interactive game projects that reflect his lifelong passion for immersive storytelling. His background in advertising and digital content creation informs his approach to audience engagement, branding, and experience design, allowing him to bridge cinematic storytelling with interactive media. His work continues to explore success, vulnerability, and the human cost of ambition, while championing Canadian talent and perspective, positioning him as one of Toronto’s most compelling emerging voices across both film and interactive entertainment
